Big the Musical is the heartwarming and hilarious story of Josh Baskin, a twelve-year-old boy who makes a wish to be “big”—and wakes up the next morning in the body of a thirty-year-old adult. Suddenly thrust into the grown-up world of New York City, Josh lands a job at a toy company, forms unexpected friendships, and discovers opportunities he never imagined. But navigating adulthood is more complicated than it looks, especially when you’re still a kid at heart.
Based on the beloved hit film, Big the Musical captures the wonder, excitement, and challenges of growing up through an unforgettable score and a cast of lovable characters. Filled with humor, heart, and plenty of nostalgia, this family-friendly musical is a joyful reminder that no matter how old we get, there’s always room for imagination, adventure, and a little bit of childhood magic.
